“Islam A Comprehensive Theory of Guidance and Beliefs”

Islam is a monotheistic Abrahamic religion based on the teachings of the Quran, which Muslims believe to be the verbatim word of God (Allah) as revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Here are some fundamental beliefs and principles of Islam

Oneness of God (Tawhid)

Islam emphasizes the absolute oneness of God. Muslims believe in the existence of one God, who is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. He has no partners, associates, or equals.

Prophethood

Muslims believe that God has sent prophets and messengers throughout history to guide humanity. The final prophet is Muhammad, who received revelations over a period of 23 years, which were compiled into the Quran.

The Quran

Muslims believe the Quran is the final and complete revelation from God. It covers various aspects of life, including guidance on morality, law, worship, and spirituality.

Five Pillars of Islam

These are the core acts of worship and practice for Muslims:
Shahada: Declaration of faith that there is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is his messenger.
Salah: Ritual prayer performed five times a day.
Zakat: Almsgiving or charity to support the community.
Sawm: Fasting during the month of Ramadan.
Hajj: Pilgrimage to Mecca, which every Muslim who is physically and financially able is required to undertake once in their lifetime.

Resurrection and Judgment

Muslims believe in the Day of Judgment, when all individuals will be resurrected and held accountable for their deeds. Heaven (Paradise) and Hell are believed to be real places of eternal reward or punishment based on one’s actions in life.

Divine Decree (Qadar)

Muslims believe in the concept of divine destiny, which includes God’s knowledge of all things past, present, and future, and His control over all events.

Morality and Ethics

Islam provides a comprehensive ethical framework governing all aspects of life, emphasizing virtues such as honesty, justice, compassion, and respect for others.

These are foundational aspects of Islam, and they shape the beliefs, practices, and daily lives of Muslims around the world.
